The Apple TV Siri Remote has a problem: It is too symmetrical.
How many times have you picked up the remote and had to turn it around in your hand. Meanwhile you accidently activate some sort of gesture on the control pad.
This 3D printed skin solves this problem. Simply slide it onto the remote and instantly you get a good indicator of which end is which.
The skin slides into the gap between the glass and the metal. It is far slimmer than the many rubber remote "condoms" on the market.
Since it sits below the glass it doesn't affect the nice feel of the remote. The texture surface adds some grip to the remote, and the open back still allows you to feel the cool metal surface of the remote.
Post-Processing
I recommend sliding the part on and off the remote about a dozen times. Due to tolerances in the 3D printing process, it may take a few cycles of this to wear down the edge to ensure it doesn't fit to tight.

About the material:
Made from flexible yet strong Nylon 12 plastic. The part is created using 3D printed laser sintered plastic. The result is a solid plastic component that is durable and long-lasting.
Like all nylon materials the part can absorb moisture. Care should be taken to prevent prolonged exposure to liquids. Dry the part as soon as possible to prevent warping.
Custom Colors:
If you want a color not available above: You can dye the parts using any colored permanent marker. Simply order the thumb tabs in white, and color them yourself. The surface is slightly porous and will hold color well. They may also be dyed using any fabric dye compatible with Nylon (Polyamide).
