A community printed part. Profits shared with Stein3DConcepts.

This is a add-on for the Wera Tool Check Mini from the Wera Advent Calendar 2024.

Does not fit other Wera kits. Tools are not included.

Professionally printed in SLS Nylon. (Grey is the default color, black dying available for an extra cost)

The add-on can be inserted at the front or back on the right or left side. To change sides, the bit holder may have to be moved to the other side. As shown, it is mounted at the front left or back right. Select the Mirrored option to flip the parts before printing.

Tip: To ensure that the lamp's magnet stays in place better, you can press a small metal pin with a diameter of 3 mm and a length of approx. 10 mm into the small recess in the slot.

Thin double sided tape, such as Woodwokring Tape can be used to hold the bit changer cover in place. This tape is not included.

Due to the more precise nature of SLS printing the hinge may feel looser than you see in the video. A bit of PTFE (Teflon) tape can be used to add thickness to the hinge pin.

Can I print it myself?

If you want to 3D print the parts to print yourself, you can find them at:

The nylon material can be dyed or painted.

  • Dying:
    • Rit Dye or any Nylon fabric dye may be used.
    • It is not possible to make the colors brighter with dye.
    • Black, Dark green, Dark Red, Dark blue may be achieved
  • Painting:
    • Any plastic compatible paint may also be used, apply in very thin light coats until completely covered. Heavy application may affect tolerances.
    • I have found Ace Hardware Matte Enamel paints to work particularly well.

Natural grey color -vs- black dyed

    • Solid part, no hollow or plastic toy feel
    • Material is flexible and water resistant
    • Durable and long lasting
