Rubber Grip:

The rubber grip items are made from textured rubber instead of Codura

Attaching the skins:
  1. You will need to remove the belt clip or any other accessories attached to the ARC pocket clip holes. I sell a Torx T6 bit for this purpose.
  2. Clean the scales with the included alcohol prep pad.
  3. Sometimes it's hard to get the adhesive to separate from the backer and it can come off the Cordura. In this case just stick it back together and try a different spot. To remove skins, use your fingernail, exacto knife or tool of choice carefully to  bring up the edge of the material and adhesive together. The rest should then peel off very smoothly.
  4. You then line up the tool's screw with the holes on the skin. Do not press down firmly on the skin just yet.
  5. Line up the skin with the other pivot screw, again, not pressing firmly at this time in case you would need to make some adjustments.
  6. Make sure the rest of the skin is lined up with the outer edges, lanyard tubes, clip holes etc then you can smooth out the skin and apply pressure for it to stay in place.
  7. If you notice is covering the pivot screw, clip screw or is a little off you are able to slide the skin a little bit to get it better aligned, by apply some pressure and pushing in the direction it needs to go.

Skin Application Help Video

Removing the skins:

If you want to remove the skins from the tool, you can peel it away from the surface. Any remaining adhesive can be cleaned up with a small amount of WD40. Fully degrease the surface before attempting to attach a new skin.

Flashy Cut Modification:

Because the RGT skins cover the conductive surface of the tool: If you want to attach a PC Doodle Flashy you will need to cut away part of the skin. If you select the "Flashy Cut" option, I will laser-cut one of the skins such that it perfectly fits the PC Doodle Flashy.

Laser the edges of the Codura prevents fraying. The off-cut will still be included if you wish to undo the modification. The $3 upcharge for this service covers the labor to cut your item. You must add this item to your cart separately.
