#Locking
BNC connectors are good for quickly connecting and disconnecting cables. This can also lead to situations where accidental disconnection is possible, either due to heavy vibration, or simply from a technician disconnecting the wrong cable at the wrong time.
This simple c-style clip snaps onto regular BNC connectors and locks the bayonet pins into place. Preventing the BNC cable from disconnection without first removing the band. For extra security a common zip style wire tie can be added to provide extra security.
Use colored zip-ties to color code cables!
The tabs have a knurled surface to provide a good grip during installation. The nylon Color is heat resistant, strong, and long lasting. The clips are fully reusable.
#NonLocking
These are free-spinning bands that snap onto the BNC connector.
Meant for identification. You can paint them using any plastic compatible spray paint for a custom color marking.

Attaching the clips:

- Each clip has a small arrow on the top. Orient the arrow towards the end of the connector without a cable protruding from it. (Or towards your equipment)
- If the connectors are already mated: Snap the clip onto the connector and then rotate in a clockwise direction until the clip fully snaps into place.
- If the connectors are not yet mated: You can pre-attach the clip to the end of the cable, but be sure it is loosely attached and not in the locked position. Then after attaching the cable, rotate the clip clockwise until locked.
- For extra security: Add a small zip style wire tie to the outside of the clip. Use colored zip-ties to color code cables!
Removing the clip:

To remove the clip, cut away any wire tie you may have in place. Then use a small flat head screw driver or your fingernail to lift one side of the clip and pry it away. The clips are reusable.

- The natural color of the Nylon 12 SLS power is gray.
- This material will darken and smooth out with use or exposure to skin oils.
- Dying may be added for an additional cost (Click here).
The nylon material can be dyed or painted.
- Dying:
- Rit Dye or any Nylon compatible fabric dye may be used.
- It is not possible to make the colors brighter with dye.
- Black, Dark green, Dark Red, Dark blue may be achieved
- Painting:
- Any plastic compatible paint may also be used, apply in very thin light coats until completely covered. Heavy application may affect tolerances.
- I have found Ace Hardware Matte Enamel paints to work particularly well.

The process:
Each batch of parts is printed on a Formlabs Fuse1 or Fuse1+. Taking 24 to 32 hours per batch. The parts are then cleaned, and if needed dyed and made ready for packing.
