Copper Thumb Stud for the Leatherman ARC or Wave Alpha

• Custom milled by a community member in the USA
• Made from an ultra high quality copper alloy
  
• Your choice of aggressive or more subtle knurling
• Specially made in a Fallout game series theme. (Bottle cap or Vault Door style)
• Polished finish
• Threads are DLC coated to prevent galvanic metal interaction
• Grey plastic tool included to aid in re-polishing the top surface
  
• Knurled installation tool included
• Thread locker included

Installation:

1. For safety ensure the blade is in the closed position.
2. A T6 Torx bit is required to remove your factory stud (Sold separately)
3. Remove the factory thumb stud from your blade.
4. Carefully unthread the thumb-stud from the yellow carrier.
5. Place the stud into the installation tool (There is a coarse and fine side).
6. Apply a small amount of blue thread locker to the threads only
7. Tighten the thumb stud against the blade.
   
8. Clean off any thread locker that may have spilled out.
9. Clean the surface of the thumb-stud using the a cotton cloth.
   

Polishing:

1. Remove the thumb-stud and thread it onto the included grey polishing jig.
   
2. Place the jig into a drill chuck.
3. While spinning the jig and stud, lightly press it against a cotton cloth.
4. You may apply some polishing compound a cotton cloth to aid in polishing.
5. 1200 grit sandpaper may be used to remove deep scratches
6. Finish with 5000-7000 grit sand paper
